Thank you Katie for the magnificent birthday cake you made
for me. It was just so appropriate for me as a vegetable gardener to have one
decorated with cabbages and carrots, cauliflowers and leeks and all so
beautifully hand done – almost a shame to eat it but it did taste good as well!
I have ordered several cakes from the Mini Manley Bakery and it is difficult to choose a favourite. The chocolate cakes are wonderful but far too tempting! Katie always puts a lot of effort into the design of the cakes and I loved the Diet Coke cake for all the little touches that made it so realistic! The dungarees on my Humphrey's corner birthday cake were very effective, and the detail on the garden cakes were easily recognisable. Most impressive of all was the MacMillan tea party cake. Looking at it, you would expect the sandwiches to taste of bread rather than icing!
